in e morn me, younger sibs n older sis rushed to prepare all e food needed.. ie. marinate chicken etc etc... rush rush rush.. then had to go n meet yy to pass her e vampire knight waited qutie long coz yy late coz of her blisters.. i wonder y she has them.. then rushed to tp.. nd to help my mum buy some stuff.. then went to e coffee shop in tp opp my church to buy lunch for family.. then met parents.. then we go hm.. after tt.. pack in e food for chalet then left.. we stayed in costa sands... n after all e unpackin at e chalet.. realised tt we forgt to bring quite a bit of food.. had to go to e market nearby to buy.. lolz.. after tt.. had some time.. so went to e beach... n omg... don go to e beach at low tide.. gt oil traces, dead fish, includin a dead fish tt is fast turnin into a skeleton.. -.-"

today is my offical last day in skl.. i am gg to miss all of e 09 peeps dearly... they r realli fun-luvin, funnie, energetic grp of ppl... LUV YA GUYS!!! N.K claimed to have detonated a nuclear bomb on Mon.. some ppl r speculatin tt is a fraud as e activity measured by S.Korea is onli 3.6 on Ritcher scale.. which is equivalent to blowin up 800 tonnes of dynamite.. whether or nt this test was real will require time n critical analysis.. so now lets assume its real.. so wat does it mean?? will there b an invasion of communist N.Korea?? juz like wat US did to topple the regime of Saddam?? or juz impose more sanctions on N.Korea...

N.korea undeniably has been quite troublesome, defiant, provocative n realli acts like a rebellious teenager.. e more authorative figs. (US) keep on naggin at N.K nt to test.. then they purposely go n test.. n their recent test is realli testin e patience of e international community.. even their longstanding ally of common ideology (China) is condemning their actions.. N.K is seriously losin its support.. n DPRK realli askin for it if they kena invaded.. nt onli so it jus seem sort of wrong tt they r investin n pumpin in so much $ to build nuclear weapons when they cannot even provide wif their ppl e essential food n items.. they rely heavily on humanitarian aid frm China, S.K n other countries... how long will DPRK continue to enjoy strong support frm its citizens as these aid r decreasing wif increased sanctions? hungry citizens will soon blame the gov for e lack of food n tt they r tryin to lead them to their death (religious input: similar to wat happened in e desert after Moses led e Israelites frm Egypt.. initally the Israelites was praising God tt they led them out of Egypt where they have little dignity n were slaves.. after days of eatin manna in e desert tt God had provided them wif.. they turned against God n complained to Moses tt he shld nt have led them out.. at least in Egypt they had food - Genisis) [haha.. digress]

i tink its nt v likely.. US- some of her troops r stationed in Iraq, Afganistan n S.K.. her troops r stretched.. by dispatching more troops to N.K for invasion is further gg to reduce their troop no. besides an invasion is gg to cost Bush billions of $$.. n will set its economy back.. tis has a chain effect in other parts of this globalized world.. also.. wld one realli dare to attack a country tt possesses soo much nuclear power?? estimated tt N.K has enuf weapons grade plutonium to make 7 nuclear weapons.. (i wouldn realli wan to risk it.. i wld have more to lose as compared to N.K hu is alr in a horrible state, poor economy etc) n Bush is also preparin for its mdi-term polls... furthermore, invasion may destablise e entire region.. it will oso cause an influx of N.Koreans into S.K, China etc... all tryin to escape... tis is prob why China will b reluctant to support an invasion.. URGENT NOTICE



Some of you may have heard or read the news of a legal suit instituted by a lady against Fr. Simon, Fr. Jacob Ong and 7 other attendees of the Novena Church. Some of the attendees are members of the music ministry.

This note to you is to assure you of the integrity of the conduct of the 2 priests and the 7 others named in the suit and to dispel any speculation that may arise from the allegations.

On the 10th August 2004, a lady and her family was at the Novena Church premises at around 10.30pm. She was in hysteria and her family members sought help. Frs Simon and Jacob with the help of the 7 prayed over her and after she recovered she left the premises.

Unfortunately, without going into specifics, bizarre allegations by the lady have now been levelled against the 2 priests and 7 attendees for trespass, assault, and false imprisonment. She had also lodged a police report but after the police investigated they took no further action as they found no wrong doing. In the last two years the lady and some of her family members through their lawyers have attempted to negotiate a monetary settlement with the 2 priests. As Frs. Simon & Jacob had at all times conducted themselves properly in line with their responsibilities and duties as Redemptorists priests of the Novena Church, they flatly refused to entertain any settlement for allegations that were untrue. In her suit she is now claiming damages in excess of $250,000.00.

The original lawyers that acted for the lady in attempting to effect a monetary settlement with the priests is no longer acting for her. The lady’s new lawyers took over and commenced a civil suit and served the suit on Fr. Simon and Fr, Jacob last week and the media got wind of the suit. Denis, one of our facilitators has informed me that the press will not have access to the details of suits filed unless they are informed and furnished a copy of the suit. We leave you to draw your own conclusions.

I can understand the concerns some of you may feel and particularly the enquirers, and possibly, their family members. Please reassure them of the integrity of our Redemptorist priests and in particular our Spiritual Director, Fr. Simon.
